Raspberry Pi GPIO UART HAT / Shield V1.0

The Raspberry Pi GPIO UART HAT / Shield V1.0 is designed as an RS232 expansion HAT for Raspberry Pi 3B / 2B / B +. It allows easy control of 2-channel RS232 via the SPI interface. The fast communication, stability, reliability, and safety make it suitable for industrial automation. The design is based on the old Raspberry Pi B serial expansion board. Additionally, it features an onboard IR receiver for remote control access.

• Do Not Connect Incompatible Devices: To prevent damage to the HAT or Raspberry Pi.

• Ensure Proper Power Supply For The Raspberry Pi And The Hat: To avoid any power-related issues.

• Raspberry Pi 3b / 2b / B +: Compatible with these models only.

• Step 1: Ensure Raspberry Pi is powered off.,
• Step 2: Align the GPIO pins of the HAT with the Raspberry Pi's GPIO header.,
• Step 3: Carefully press the HAT onto the GPIO header to establish a secure connection.,
• Step 4: Power on the Raspberry Pi and verify the connection.
