Working Principle

Description

The Gravity SGP40 Air Quality sensor is based on the SGP40 digital VOC sensor chip from Sensirion. It utilizes Sensirion's CMOSens technology to provide a complete sensor system on a single chip, including a temperature-controlled micro-hotplate and a humidity-compensated indoor air quality signal. The sensor employs a powerful VOC algorithm to directly evaluate indoor air quality by converting the detected ethanol equivalent in air to a VOC index.
