The BigTreeTech TMC2240 driver is a new generation of silent drivers, supporting a higher voltage range and a larger current output. Temperature report reports the internal temperature of the chip to allow the user to activate dynamic protection and check the stability and repeatability of the system. This driver runs at high speed mode by supporting motors stepper up to 36V.

In case of unforeseen movement of the print bed or sudden loss of power the driver goes into protection, the TMC2240 protects itself and the motor by monitoring current changes and adjusting output instantly. BIGTREETECH TMC2240 V1.0 has a ultra quiet operation.
